Emirates Job Details:

Company: Veritas Petroleum Services (Asia) Pte Ltd, Fujairah

Post: Cargo Manager/ Business Development Manager.

Employment type: Full Time.

Education Level: A bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related Master's degree may be advantageous.

Work Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of proven commercial and operational experience and success in business development or sales within the oil and gas industry.

Location: Fujairah.

○ Description:

This senior role demands extensive industry knowledge, strategic sales capabilities, and a robust network within the energy trading and logistics sectors.

○ Key Responsibilities:

• Set up the Cargo Department, identify the required resources (for both quality and quantity) and to run the day-to-day

• activities by liaising with relevant stake holders

• Co-ordinate and plan surveys according to customers request and assign jobs to surveyors

• Send out the Cargo survey report after completion of Survey

• Handle dispute/ difference investigation and reply to customer

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans and secure new business opportunities for terminal services

• Build and maintain strong, high-level relationships with key decision-makers, including oil traders, energy majors, brokers,

and logistics managers, particularly those focused on the Middle East market (e.g., Fujairah).

• Lead the preparation of proposals, tender bids, and complex service agreements (including TSA negotiations) tailored to the

specific operational requirements and safety regulations for handling Cargos (Crude, Naphtha, HFO etc).

• Work closely with terminal operations, Port authorities, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure all proposed services

meet stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory standards for handling hazardous hydrocarbons.

• Maintain accurate records of all day-to-day activities, sales activities and client information and sales forecasts to senior

management.

○ Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related Master's degree may be advantageous.

• Minimum of 10+ years of proven commercial and operational experience and success in business development or sales within the oil and gas industry

• Deep understanding of the physical oil markets, product specifications (crude, MGO, naphtha, fuel oil), bulk liquid handling,

terminal operations, safety protocols, and relevant international regulations and local regulations

• Exceptional negotiation, structured communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively regionally and globally to meet clients and attend industry events.
